Sorry , I have been away for so long but I am going to make an effort to maitain all my sites. Informing of you of my new developements and my plans for the future.
Since, I last spoke so much has happened. I was asked by Sharon at Brewood Library if I could do some post cards of Brewood. I couldn't wait to show her my portfolio. I was amazed when people started buying them. This resulted in these designs being turned into cards and then I produced mouse mats with 2 specific designs all of which Brewood Library sell. Then Stephanie at Codsall Library asked if I could do some postcards of Codsall. It was quite a challenge to do 5 designs in 6 weeks and get them printed. Managed it - just. Flush with success I have recently setup my website (with the majority of help from my lovely niece Sam) so that all my art -paintings; cards; mousemats etc can be purchased on line.
This year I have sold more painting than ever. Would you believe I sold 4 paintings during a walk through the churchyard after the Brewood Wake. When I was accosted by the lovely Nicola. She is a lovely girl who has become a great friend. Great laugh and has a wicked sense of humour!!!!
I have started to paint in acrylics. I'm finding myself drawn to paint my brother's portrait again !(I'm thinking big-National Portrait Awards in February) Keep you posted.
Just finished a portrait of Issy for my husband, I could have sworn their was a tear in his eye . I just don't know how she sat so still for so long!
Just sold a drawing of Codsall Square to my good friend Sally. I also, have a commission for another for her hubby, can't say what thats all about - at the moment.
So in 2011, I might be coming to a library near you!!

Lazy Days in Slapton ,Devon
The Old Window Ledge , Lesvos
Steps at Portmeirion, Wales.
The Barn , Slapton ,Devon
I took a photo of this barn and produced three paintings from it. The original was purchased by my good friends Sally and Bryn. The second by my sister Dawn and husband Dek and the third one by Mum and Dad. The last one is a very large painting.
I love old derelict buildings to paint because of the colours they hold. Colours they release easily to watercolour painting.
Commissioned
Part of the card collection.
